I have another prompt to share! The festive season is here, and what better way to celebrate than by merging the joy of Christmas with the excitement of technology? (I'm generally happy about most things if there is some tech involved.). This one is inspired by the classic carol, "The 12 Days of Christmas," but CodeCrew style. This blog post will explore how you can use your own theme to create some Christmas fun with a prompt guide.
This is the prompt that I used:
Write song lyrics to the tune of “12 Days of Christmas". The theme should be about CodeCrew kids and technology.
Here are my results:
On the first day of coding, CodeCrew sent to me:
A laptop in a tech tree.
...
On the twelfth day of coding, CodeCrew sent to me:
Twelve bots a-chatting,
Eleven hackers hacking,
Ten networks linking,
Nine coders coding,
Eight apps a-building,
Seven servers running,
Six drones a-flying,
Five golden codes!
Four robot arms,
Three function loops,
Two debugged programs,
And a laptop in a tech tree.
So I got excited and decided also to create a version for Memphis:
On the first day in Memphis, my true love sent to me:
A stroll down Beale Street’s history.
...
On the twelfth day in Memphis, my true love sent to me:
Twelve flippers flipping,
Eleven choirs singing,
Ten dancers stepping,
Nine trolleys rolling,
Eight murals shining,
Seven riverboats cruising,
Six guitars strumming,
Five Graceland tours!
Four blues bands playing,
Three BBQ joints,
Two ducks at Peabody,
And a stroll down Beale Street’s history.
